The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) Fellowship aims to enhance research and advanced training amongst young researchers from developing countries and is aimed at the natural sciences, specifically anyone working in any of the fields listed below:
- Agricultural and biological sciences;
- Medical and health sciences;
- Chemistry;
- Engineering;
- Astronomy;
- Space and earth sciences; or
- Mathematics and physics.
Who can apply? Anyone from a developing country, holding an MSc (or equivalent) degree. Even better, there is no age limit! Fellowships are offered for a duration of 3-12 months.
