Have a look at this great new resource on the APECS website. At the moment there are over fifty curated resources related to diversity, equity, & inclusion in polar research, all searchable by category. Many of these resources were selected for their direct relevance to polar research, specifically; others are recommended for relevant insights on STEM, academia, and fieldwork more broadly. These resources are grouped into one or more of the following categories: Safety in science, Gender, LGBTQIA+, Ethnicity, Parenthood, Indigenous communities, Community Guidelines, Networks. Resources include articles, peer-reviewed research, community guidelines, examples of best practices/policies, links to networks, and more. You can also contribute to this repository by sending new suggestions to APECS at inclusion@apecs.is.
