However, just as it is a career with many opportunities, it is also a life with many challenges. This presentation will provide a summary of some personal perspectives on possible ways to maximize your opportunities whilst living in an increasingly complex world. The critical role of effective science communication, especially as it relates to environmental issues such as climate change, will be emphasized
